1.21.21 Mic Check
Hello and Happy New Year to you! I hope this shorter post today finds you well. Thought I’d give a life update on all things Jordan Coley and Jordan Coley Worship!
The Lesson Foundry
I realize it’s been a little while since I’ve posted on here. I’ve been focused pretty heavily on the new online music studio I helped launch called The Lesson Foundry. Feel free to check that out if you or someone you know would like some high-quality, one-on-one lessons from the comfort of home! Lessons are for all ages and skill levels. If you want to find out more, just give that link a click!
We’re also doing a giveaway of an Orangewood Guitars Morgan Mahogany Live acoustic-electric guitar, so feel free to enter that if you like! All you need to do to enter is share some contact info.
But beyond that, I want to share some more stuff with you, so here goes!
YouTube
I did a full-band cover of Bethel and Dante Bowe’s song “Champion,” now up on the YouTube channel. This is the start of a new series and new standard for my videos as of this year. It takes a lot more work to put something like this together, but I think the end result is worth it! Let me know if you think so too.
What that also means though, is a trade-off. I still work two actual jobs, and YouTube has always just been a fun outlet for me. I won’t be posting videos like this every week, at least at this time. But I do intend to continue to produce more videos of this quality this year. I’m looking to hopefully do about 10 more over the course of 2021.
The Heavens Roar EP
As you most likely know if you’re reading on my blog, I released a 5-song EP this past summer called The Heavens Roar. If you haven’t heard it by some random chance, here are some ways you can listen:
Spotify
Apple Music
YouTube
Bandcamp
I’ve been hearing from folks that have heard the songs on there that I really need to share them with other churches, so I’d like to make good on that. I’ve decided to do something special:
Ordinarily, I have the resources (charts and stems in every key) for all the songs on the website here for a price, to help support me, since the only way I make an income is through music, across all my jobs. But I want to do something special to get the songs out there more.
If you’re a leader at a church and you think any of these songs might bless your congregations, I’m happy to provide those resources for free.
That means free charts and free stems, all set up in Ableton so they’re ready to use live on a Sunday. If you want to use them, just drop a comment on this post, or reach out to me on any of my social media.
Even More Coming!
I’ve got even more I’m working on for you guys this year, in the way of collaborations, videos, and more. I will keep you posted! 2021 should be a really exciting year.
