Happy Anniversary Sparrow & Flower!

Hey y’all, it’s been a while! Hope you’ve been well in the long time since I’ve shared something here. I wanted to log on to share that I’ve just completed a project that was very special to me: A YouTube series called Song Meanings, where I deep dive into the backgrounds behind all of the songs from my full-length album, Sparrow & Flower.

And it’s just in time for today, which marks the one-year anniversary of its release! I looked back at the impact, and just on Spotify alone, songs from the album were streamed more the 85,000 times. That’s not a ton in the grand scheme of things, but for me, a random indie artist with a tiny following, that’s huge to me. I’m so grateful for each and every person that’s been a part of the journey with me!

So What’s Next?

So glad you asked! There are a ton of things in the works! Tonight at 7:30pm PT, I’ll be doing a Listening Party on Bandcamp to celebrate! Feel free to drop into the chat and hang out if you want.

Beyond that, IT’S TIME FOR LIVE MUSIC!

That’s right, I have a band now! This group of absolutely brilliant lads and I will be bringing the songs of Sparrow & Flower live to the Bay Area really soon. I’ll make sure to keep you guys posted about that as the story unfolds. I could not be more excited to share these songs with this lovely community here in the Bay. This is possibly the coolest and most supportive scene I’ve ever gotten to be a part of, and I regularly discover so much talent flying under the radar.

With that part said, I may start using this space to highlight some of my other local favorites in the area, but more on that another time.
