WCK FUNDRAISER TIME and SHOWS
Hey all! Been a minute again, but boy do I have a LOT to say. Going to try to squash all of it into this one post, but I’ll also probably split things up as well.
World Central Kitchen 2026
It’s Thanksgiving season again, which means it’s fundraising time! For those of you who don’t know, every year I raise money for World Central Kitchen, one of the top-rated non-profit charities in the world, to help meet the needs of people worldwide who need meals. The people WCK serves include those affected both by natural disasters, and human-caused conflict. A big portion of their efforts go to feeding people affected by the awful situation in Gaza. This is part of my way of trying to make this difficult world we live in just a little better.
The amazing heroes at WCK literally risk life and limb to provide humanitarian aid in some of the most dangerous places. For those of us blessed with resources (no matter how small! I think it takes like $5-ish to provide a meal!), this is a way we can also make an impact.
Each year I try to consolidate my efforts to this big push, and I have others join me. Some of us pool money together, while others donate separately, but we all track it. As far as what’s been shared with me, the community here is responsible for $3,226 in donations. I would LOVE to see us exceed $5,000 this year!
To participate, you can do one of two things! Get in touch with me on Instagram @jordancoley via DM and we can talk collecting funds together, OR you can make a separate donation right to the WCK page, and just share with me how much you donated in support of our fundraiser. All of it counts, and however you’re comfortable giving is totally okay!
Upcoming Shows
I’ll be playing my last show of the year on the East Coast this year! I’m excited to share that I’ve been welcomed back to play The Novelty Collective’s NoCo Fest 2026 the weekend of November 20th and 21st!
This will be an AMAZING lineup of fantastic musicians. I can’t wait to share space with all the amazing art and music that will be there. If you’re in the vicinity of Pittsburgh on 11/20-21, come through! I’ll be playing a full band set with an all-star cast of bandmates, including Jordan King of The Novelty Collective fame on drums, and the incredible Daniel Thompson of My Heart, My Anchor on bass and vocals. Daniel will also be playing his own set. His music is PHENOMENAL and I highly recommend checking his set out too!
2027
In 2027, I’ll be back playing shows on the West Coast, starting at O’Reilly’s Pub in San Francisco on January 15th, followed by another very special show I’ll be announcing a little bit later, also here in the East Bay Area. More to come next year, as I plan to get around and make noise around the Bay and maybe venture a little further as I can. Can’t wait to scream these songs together <3
That’s All(?) for Now
Not really all of it. There’s more, but I don’t want this post to get too long. I’m stoked about these next several months. What a wonderful ride it’s been. Let’s make a difference together! Talk soon!
